In Kiev patriots protested against Russian banks in Ukraine

Yesterday March 1, about 200 activists of the “National Corps”, members of the organization “Zirka” and their supporters took part in the meeting near the building of the National Bank of Ukraine. The main demand of protesters was to ban Russian banks in Ukraine.

Participants brought a coffin to the entrance of the building. There was a doll dressed in a prison jumpsuit which had the face of Valeria Gontareva, the head of the National Bank. Oleksander Alferov, a spokesman of Andrew Biletsky, called Russian banks “economic troops of Russia in Ukraine” and called for depriving their licenses. Such meetings will be held until complete cessation of Russian banks’ work on Ukraine’s territory.
